Basic Black

This outfit was inspired by my christmas present, which was a black pull and bear quilted jumper that I love! I'm actually wearing it on here but it's not very clear as it was taken from my iPad.
I do enjoy the basic black outfit as seen on this photo. A simple outfit is perfect for this winter and then adding a hint of colour, like this gold necklace and the dirty beige coloured boots.

Let's start again...

See, that's the first thing that came to mind when putting the title up, "let's start again". I haven't really been around as much as I used to. I wasn't as motivated, driven and passionate with blogging. I never really thought about it but what did I need this for? Who was I doing this for and Why did I even start? All of these questions, I'm asking myself now, right this instant, as you are reading. I'm typing as I go along, as I feel like it. So, what happened as you may ask? Well, it's simple really; I grew out of it. Maybe blogging, isn't my thing. And to be honest, that's partly right, it wasn't. But at that time, it seemed like such a good idea, maybe because it was summer, it was fun, there were lots to do, I was caught up in the moment and I felt like I could do it. But as time went by, I just forgot about it. It was the sort of thing I'd go back to at such a random time; I would take a look if it was still there, you know, sometimes when you've not used it as much, they'd delete it, obviously not in this case. The whole of my beautiful summer, May towards September, I had not used it at all. And now,  it's November. Time really does go fast when you're having fun. So many things have happened while I was gone, travelling, working, travelling again and just having fun, chilling, and relaxing. So while all of those things were happening, I'd abandoned this blog. Deep, I know. But I want to start again. I'm on my bed in my university flat room, yes I'm in uni a lot has changed! Anyway, I had some tasks to do for my classes tomorrow, and I did a little but now I'm procrastinating. This is how ended up here again. Yes PROCRASTINATION brought me here, it's what I do best when I just have no motivation. So what I said about starting again, I want to do that, but I don't want to start from scratch, I want to move forward with what I have already, and that's my life now as a university student. I said this blog would be about Fashion, and it still will be, but not the main one. I don't want to limit myself with just one thing, I want to be able to explore with different ideas, themes and styles. This is surely sounding much like my course, which is a Theatre arts course. But rest assured, I won't be talking just about my course, but about everything that's happening, or that's happened in the past few weeks. I want you guys to follow this journey with me and hopefully get inspired by to try out different things and not limit yourself with one. Those questions I asked myself, I can answer them now. I need this for my personal gain, for expressing myself the way I can't in front of people, especially strangers that I've yet to overcome. Blogging will help me write; as a theatre student and an actor I need to be open minded more and to talk freely in discussions. I am starting this because I want to, because I've found new ways to express myself and well, because it's so much better than procrastinating. And who am I doing this for? I'm doing this for me.

keeping it simple!

20.04.2013 -Mum's birthday

A late post ...
We had a small dinner at a chinese restaurant in the next town and since it was only with the family and close family friends, I decided to keep it simple as, of course, my mum was the birthday girl!

(I really like the edits on this! It's a shame I couldn't do it on the other ones since I have a fish like memory; well it's most likely >.<)
I wore Black jeans from Primark and a Black top from Asos. Finished it with a bit of colour from the nude,peach/pinky sleeveless aviator I got from Primark and the nude sandals from Zara. As it was still cold in England, I wanted to keep the essence of winter but still have the theme of spring as it is of course supposedly spring time in the UK! But as you all know it's hard to predict british weather, that's why you've always got to be prepared, and so I bought a cardigan with me, which was really helpful :) You've got to have a pair of sunnies with you too! These Ray-Ban sunnies are fit for winter, spring and summer, just perfect anytime sunny!

Living the Puerto Banus life!

Location: Puerto Banús, 29660 Marbella, Málaga, Spain
The holiday in Spain was a beautiful experience! We went to many amazing places and got to see new and exciting environment. Puerto Banus was one of the amazing places that I got to see. From the boats, to the designer shops, eating desserts whilst enjoying the view, it couldn't have been better! I'm definitely going to visit this beautiful place again with more money in hand, of course! :)

Outfit of the day!

Bag: Burberry, Cardigan: TK Maxx, Black top: ASOS,  Sunglasses: Givenchy, Sandals: Primark, Jeans: River Island

As I was on the way back to the airport, I wanted a comfortable outfit whilst still having that edgy look. I like having the black and white jeans with simple, plain colours as it adds and enhances them.
I also like adding pop of colours, so to do that here, I just added these turquoise sandals from Primark; I love these because they are really comfortable and cheap, fit for holiday season! Plus I love the colour!

I will be going back to Spain next month, so stay tuned! But before that, I'll be posting more of my adventures from the first holiday in Spain in a few days!

Anyone been on holiday lately?

This is going to be a really quick post since I have to make my way to work any moment now!
I just wanted to update you(s) about my solo act today. I'm sure all of you have had plans that you couldn't make or plans that have been cancelled because of "unexpected" rain checks, or the last minute plans. See I don't know about you guys, but I prefer the unexpected type, yup the "go with the flow type" Well going straight to the point, seeing as I'm going to work in exactly 5 minutes,  haha I know what the hell am I doing writing a post when I should be worried about being late to work! But yes, It was a nicer day than usual, I thought I'd get ready to do a photoshoot myself :) I asked my friend if she could do it with me, but she thought we wouldn't have time because of my work, and she had a point, but I'd gotten ready already and I didn't want it to go to waste, so I took, my sister's camera (she's not suppose to know this, but sis if you're reading this, sharing is caring right? :D), the tripod, the remote, and started snapping outside in my garden. It didn't really work :/ So yeahp, lesson learned, if your friend says she can't accompany you in any way, don't ask your little sister to take photos for you ^_^ And that's a whole different story!

My failed photo shoot!

Thanks for reading this short post!
I hope to make more and do a lot more of my unexpected plans in the future :)

Yours truly,
Lexii xo

Plans, weather, and mischiefs!

Okay don't be fooled by the title, I really am not up to anything mischiefs, it just came into topicm for some reason :) haha
Anyway, nothing special really happened just to warn you, just been an ordinary day that's all.
I was very excited to share the look that I had put together today as it was simple and very "western" BUT to anyone who has experience the English weather, you should know by now that our weather has this bipolar activity
